Getting off VMware doesn't have to mean a weekend of manual disk conversions and blue-screens. KingWerx Hypervisor Migrator connects to your vCenter or a standalone ESXi host, inventories the VMs, and rebuilds them on Hyper-V — converting every disk, preparing the guest so it boots on the first try, and wiring up the network the way that machine needs. No VMware PowerCLI to license or install, and your source VM is never touched destructively.

Point it at vCenter or a standalone ESXi host, pick the VMs, and it copies, converts, and re-creates them on your Hyper-V host — one machine or a whole batch.

EVERY DISK, NOT JUST THE BOOT DISK
Migrates all attached disks, converts VMDK → VHDX, and brings data volumes back online inside the guest automatically — no hunting through Disk Management afterward.
BOOTS ON THE FIRST TRY
Automatic boot-prep fixes the classic STOP 0x7B (Inaccessible Boot Device), and picks Gen 1/Gen 2 plus legacy vs. synthetic NIC to match the guest — even Windows XP / Server 2003.
NETWORKING THAT JUST WORKS
Detects routers and firewalls (pfSense, OPNsense, TrueNAS / BSD) and handles the virtual NIC's MAC so they don't come up with a dead interface after the move.
SAFE CUTOVER
Optionally quarantines the source VM — disconnects its network, disables autostart, and annotates it — so you're never running two of the same machine at once. Fully reversible.
REQUIREMENTS
- Run on the destination Hyper-V host (elevated) — Windows Server 2016 / 2019 / 2022 / 2025 with the Hyper-V role
- Network access to the VMware source (vCenter or ESXi), with credentials
- Free scratch space for conversion, plus room on the target volume for the finished VHDX disks
- No agent on the guest, and no VMware PowerCLI to install — the VMware client is bundled

- Windows guests: Server 2003 → 2025, and Windows XP → 11 (old builds get a legacy NIC automatically)
